Think this kid is going to be pretty good.
Tried to put some on him for rising star but isn't listed, neither is Grego.

I still remember the last game he played this year my wife turning around and asking me who the school kid running around for the eagles was. She wasn't joking.

Easy to see why they didn't want to play him in the middle.

With any luck, that will change next season.

Stoked to be on board as Tommy’s player sponsor in 2026.

2025 was an interesting year for Grossy. It was clear early on that we got a good one, his pre-season WAFL performances had us very excited and bullish about his chances. He came in early on, and made a significant impact in the midfield against GWS and Carlton, before some highly questionable decisions by McQualter and co saw him as the sub, as well as traveling as an unused emergency, before being dropped back to the WAFL due to needing game time to continue his development. He was probably a victim of Mini going too youth-focused against Carlton at Gather Round (which he promptly corrected), and that early season momentum was lost.

He managed to return to the team, but in a high half forward role, which he never truly grasped. The Richmond game at the G was a stiff learning curve for him, one which will hopefully be of benefit to him down the line.

Ultimately, he looks too good for WAFL level, but his lack of size, endurance and positional flexibility stopped him being able to impact at AFL level for the remainder of the 2025 season.

2026 Pre-season so far has been a clear focus on improving size, strength and endurance, one which hopefully allows him to flourish in a more experienced Beagles side before he finds his way back into the AFL side. From there, it’s about quarter-to-quarter consistency, and having a body capable of delivering performances in multiple positions.

He looks a ripper kid, let’s hope we look back on his selection as finding a later-round gem that plays a big part in our quest for our next flag.

Go Grossy!

Assuming he starts the year in the WAFL, he's one I think can really benefit from having some more mature bodies around with the Beagles. Had to do a lot of the work last year alongside lots of ammos against much more physically mature opposition.

Was getting ragdolled a bit at AFL level, not quite ready physically, but don't write off his attributes. Needed to bulk up some and apparently has done so. Once he finds his wheels at AFL level, hopefully this season, could be a bolter.

Are people seriously writing off Gross already??? 🤣 🤣 🤣

Good to see people are still getting around the young fella, despite him coming off the boil a bit after his quiet games as a forward at AFL level.

In the WAFL he was clearly the Eagles most exciting midfielder, and that was as an 18yr old playing against men for the the time, surrounded by spuds.

Another year, with new rock hard seasoned teammates (Dev, Finn, Schoenberg) will help him enormously. Imagine him being at the CBD's in 2025 with Barnett and 2 ammo's next to him. Gee whiz.

Well said. He's a player for sure...got to be patient with this one though. He's still very raw. I expect to see him really begin to flourish from 2027 onward
