"Gross has the potential to be a top 10-15 player out of this year’s draft crop, which says a lot given how deeply talented it is. He features among an array of unique midfielders with varying weapons, his being explosive speed and a highly combative nature. With a little refinement to his finishing touch he could be a highly damaging prospect at the top level, one who contributes a classic 20-and-two stat line each game."

Another steal of the draft and will end up a better balanced mid than Jagga Smith.

Gross should be a long-term player. He's deceptively strong and powerful, his endurance definitely needs works though.

I had a look at his CTL and VM Under 18s stats and he ranks very highly in score assists and score involvements, usually that's a very good sign you have a player

This bloke's going to take the AFL world by storm, no doubt. Clubs will be wondering how he slipped to pick #46 and Eagles supporters will be thankful Matty Clark had the foresight to split pick 3 so we had the additional pick to nab Tommy boy.

Whether we have to make other changes due to Govs injury that unlocks some forward or back half positional movement will be the real interest. Think Mini got the balance wrong in this one but he'll learn.

Yeah Bo only looks likely if Gov is out and even then I think Brocks got runs on the board to come in. Looked really good in the WAFL, picked off heaps of footy to set us back up.
