Hopefully the umpires give him some lead way and he can run 60m here too before kicking. Bouncing is overrated.

Just let him take the kick-ins, you’re allowed to run to the 50m arc without bouncing.

There is an unspoken arrogance in being able to run faster than the people chasing you. You, by your display, are rubbing in their faces that they are inferior to you. It's cold, it's stark and gets your opponent right in the heart of them.

So yes, it can be savage.

Wow, I think Belly said "get me the quickest kid in Ireland [with some ball skills] and we'll teach him how to play footy". Should be fun - if the guy is prepared to come to the other side of the world to pursue a professional athletic career you can take the commitment for granted.
