Love this and Harley and Willem seem really close and the family seem very friendly with Harley.

Seems a bit underwhelming for a pick 1. There’s nothing particularly exciting about his highlight videos, but hopefully he’s able to accumulate in the seniors and become an effective AFL midfielder. Like a taller Gaff, nothing flashy but a death by 1000 cuts 25d+ every week type. We’ve got Harley for the flashy stuff, I suppose.

I don't think there is a good comparison for him. A more versatile and athletic Whitfield than anyone else as far as playing style goes. Maybe why he's compared to Goddard whom played a lot behind the ball at stages of his career.

I don't see the comparison to Fyfe or Bont, both you have much more developed inside games from very early on.

Never occurred to me they were Dutch heritage, but now you mention it the last name is very Dutch.

As someone with full Dutch heritage myself I fully approve of this.

well I hope harls was listening in that video with Mini. Offseason, day before draft and when asked what he was doing later, he said he was doing kicking practise and woking on skills with Harry Dean.

its clear the boy has ultimate dedication to his craft. doesn't need a group sessions in offseason to make sure he does his work. he is self motivated. Harley could well end up as Robin.

Yep. Despite all the sky is falling shit over our drafting strategy the past few days, we've brought in some young kid who look like they'll be seriously good players in a few years.
