Another fantastic effort from the Hawks, next week against the bombers is going to be a beauty. I bet a lot of people hope that the Hawks can beat them. Lets all hope the game turns out to be what it has been hyped out to be.

GO HAWKS!!!

I hope the game is very very one sided in the Hawks favour. The Hawks will do Bigfooty a huge favour if they can get up. Please, do not let us down. Bury them.

I hope todays win doesn't make you feel invincible, your opposition today or lack of it, was pathetic, you may as well have been playing by yourselves.
Next week you will be playing against a real team.

80 points against WC this week is not good enough Hawks, you should have beat us by at least 100 looking at the side we fielded and the game we played. Essendon will win next week...

No Holland. No Rawlings & no Hay after half-time. Them 3 players would be worth more than the entire West Coast club. Yeah, 80 points is a pretty good effort.

Good decision Judge. You went through 1 merger crisis with Hawthorn, get ready for another one.

Okay thats three Hawthorn players injured, all good players. Didn't happen to look at the WC injury list by any chance did you? Players that weren't available to play for WC this week:

Philip Read - Season (Start off on the bench)
David Sierrakowski - Season (Would make starting line-up)
Michael Prior - Season (Would make starting line-up)
Zac Beeck - 5 Weeks (Still a rookie)
Rowan Jones - 4 Weeks (Start off on the bench)
David Antonowicz - 2 Weeks (Forget this guy)
Darren Glass - 2 Weeks (Would make starting line-up)
Scott Cummings - 2 Weeks (Would make starting line-up)
Josh Wooden - 2 Weeks (Forget this guy)
Andrew Donnelly - 2 Weeks (Pressing for selection)
Ashley McIntosh - 2 Weeks (Would make starting line-up)
Chad Morrison - 2 Weeks (Would make starting line-up)
Mark Merenda - 2 Weeks (Would make starting line-up)
Peter Matera - Test (Would make starting line-up)

Added to that, Gardiner and Kemp were rushed into the side whilst still injured to make up a team.

Hawthorn should be kicking themselves for not thrashing us by over 100 points!

Yeah I just come from the Hawks team meeting, and they are thinking of chucking in the whole season cause of the major disappointment of the Eagles game. The are kicking themselves big time over not getting those oh so valuable 20 extra points.

I think the club is going to fold before the Essendon game next Saturday.
GOD! I knew they should of kept Ken Judge.
Now that the Hawks are out of the comp, my new tip for the flag is West Coast Eagles. Any team that can not get beat by 100 points must have something going for them.

All I am saying is beware of Essendon, WC today were no indaction on how good your club are, pretty much any club would have thrashed us today!

Sandie...i'm all for them being lulled into a false sense of security. You'd think they've beaten last years premiers the way they are carrying on! Reality check fellas, you beat West Coast (who are totally and utterly decimated by injury). The Dimboola thirds could have beaten West Coast today.

Let's see how you fair next Saturday night. I don't think Essendon will be 'as forgiving' !!

Who is getting excited about today's game? The fact is that an 80 point victory is excellent, we were just playing with West Coast all day (not something i was happy about) We over-possesed the footy and our skills were pretty dreadful at times but we still won by 13 goals, not that we beat much, WCE were very depleted.

Nothing has been said here about Hawthorn beating Essendon so don't try and manufacture crap to hold against us when you win next Saturday night...... :D Nah, honestly i am hoping it will be a tight tussle, we have 3 of our best 5 players out so we are pushing sh!t up hill already but if we are good enough then we will win, no excuses.

well done Hawks, you were the better side (even though the Royal Blind Society could beat the eagles at the moment).

But i tend to agree with Visro. Probably another 5-10 goals would have been a more apprioate scoreline when you consider:
1. The Eagles have a talented yet very immature list to begin with.
2. We had 14 players out from injury, most of which are in our strongest 22.
3. We were fielding most of that immature talent, and when you field a side of kids, no matter how much talent they have, you will never win.

Correct Danny. I don't think bigfooty Hawks supporters have been carrying on at all. The only one who carries on is DUNSTALL19 but he doesn't carry on about how good the hawks are, rather he tries to have arguments with others here and bags out opposition players for no reason.....eg. Lance Whitnalll......ggggrrrrrr!!
