Congratulations to our Bulldog Boys who represented their country and their club so admirably. Darce, Browny and Murph all contributed well to the win against Ireland. They should all be feeling pretty good about themselves right now!!!!!!!

Bring on season 2003
:D :D :D

Darce's goal [brilliant!] in this game and Browny's nwork in the first game helped turn it around for Australia. I nodded off for a while and missed Murph. What happened to Johnno? Stayed home with his new bub I guess?

Yeh the matches were good - can't believe the weather for the second game though!!!! I thought Eddie was gonna explode with his commentating in the final quarter of the second game wow!!! Congrats to the boys - especially to Darce for that goal and Browny who played very well in both games.

PS. Yes, Johno decided to stay home with his new bub rather than go to Ireland. Ella would be about a month old now...

In the 2nd game the 3 Dogs combined for 22 of the teams 42 points

The Aussies would have been stuffed if it weren't for the Dogs

And Browny, not Kellaway deserved to be named Australias best player for the series. He was crantastic

I'm pickin' up what your puttin' down.

Talk about hitting nails on the head, are u a tradie!?;)

Totally agree that Brownie deserved the best player award... he was sensational. Top scored in both matches didn't he? I think there is a bit of bias toward the goalkeeper in that because the position is non-exsistent in our game, an average performance is regarded as brilliant. Very stiff was young Browny.

Darcy's goal was terrific, it really got the ball rolling for the Aussies and turned the game around. By the way, what are everyone's thoughts on the Scott / Gerahty fight? I thought that Scott was an absolute disgrace and should never be allowed to pull on the Australian coat of arms again. The game was supposed to be played in the spirit of goodwill, the players made a pact before the game and what does moron do? Makes the team (which in doing so reflects on us) look like a bunch of brainless thugs. Very dissapointing. Maybe if he got a touch I would be a little more leanient.

Well done to the Irish team to, they kept at it all day and made a game out of the series. To Gerathys credit ghe went on to get a few touches.

Well Done Murf, Browny and Darce
they did the club and their country proud.

Very stiff not to be awarded the player of the series......?

He was sensational, TRUE superstar. I think we are going to have a great time next year watching him set the forward 50 alight with sheer bedazzling brilliance.
