Just like to say all the best for your 100th game Matty. Thanks for standing up in the tough times, when other more experienced players were not there to lead the way. Hope you can cap off a great season with a ton and of course your first flag, fingers crossed.

Couple of teams to thank for you being with us - 1. Carlscum playing your old man a few less times than the required amount for the Father & Son rule. Still with their recruiting policy (old rejects only please) they probably wouldn't have picked you up anyway.
2. Freo for taking Delaney, Riddley (I kidd you not) and Kickett (only decent performer) in exchange for Lloyd and I think Lucas picks, you can understand why there my second team ha ha ha, love their work.

Hope to see you in the red & black for another 200 games.

Cheers.

100 already?

How old is he, 21-22?

Well done Matthew Lloyd, just think you've already played 2 more games than Coleman.

Look out Plugger, he's coming to get you.

Bloody neesham, what the hell was he on???
you finish half a game behind us and give up that trash (well near enough in comparisson) we lose Allan and get jacksh*t.
Ah what could have been, never has a draw been so bloody lucky for a side to pick up a very very good player (to soon to be called a champion)

To bad Hay is going to ruin his 100th

So that's one of the reasons for your passionate hatred of the Dons, Grendel. Don't forget we got jack shit for a Brownlow medalist getting home sick, but I doubt that will stem the hate hey Grendel.

Regarding Hay, yeah he's probably second only to Fletch as the best fullback at the minute. Much better than that Justin "forget your opponent just attack" Leppitch. Even if he keeps Lloyd quiet it's the rest that will bob up and do the damage -Lucas, Hird, Rioli, Mercuri, Bewick etc etc.

I thought you guys would have done better this year. Doesn't help having Crawf down and Thomson battling injury. Still seasons not over yet and if you beat us on Sat. night who knows what could happen.

Cheers

BOMBER BLITZ IN 2000!

Rice80sf - You think that wanganeen only got homesick, rubbish, that Mcdonalds he owns was part of the deal and he would have stayed had they not offered him the captaincy and the franchise, but thats all history now and wanganeen has degenerated into the hack that he is. Im not saying hes not skillful but he has become dirty and argues with those white maggots too much

Rice baby, I never said I hated the Dons. Only Sheedy, there is a difference.

Re the Wangas deal, I remember Sheedys whinge to the media about it how as he was the best player that year to be traded under the compesation to a new club that the Dons should therefore be given the first choice in the draft.

I agree with him and they should make it retrospective, ie Lloydy comes out tomorrow night in a Hawks Jumper as Allan was the best player given to Freo under Sheedys criteria the previous year

All in favour say AYE

Dons R Tops

You have a very short memory. Gavin Wanganeen was a terrific player for the Bombers, not only playing in the premiership side of 1993 but also winning a Brownlow in the same year. Very few players have been able to achieve that feat. What gives the right to bag him because he switched clubs? I agree that he hasn't produced his best at Port, but then he has had a lot of injuries.
Sure it's disappointing to lose players to their 'home states' but life goes on. He would have to be one of the most talented and gutsy players to have played the game in the last decade.

My golden rule of football - never bag champion players. And what's worse than this, bagging champion players, when they were champions at your team...

The Good Guy,
I have an Autographed framed Photo of gavin wanganeen with a plaque on it that say 1993 Brownlow medallist on my wall here, If You Want It Make me an offer, He has turned into a player that doesn't look like he enjoys the game anymore, Possibly cause hes not winning much, and still he make thing harder for himself by arguing with umpires and playing outside the spirit of the game. He has been a champion although I would not say he was the best player going around in 1993, he was great, however now hes just another player who is possibly the best in his side but looking at the rest of port, that wouldn't be too hard
