yes as expected we lost to the bombers. it was a close game and in the last 30 seconds my heart was in my mouth. but in the end we just ran out of time.

i just wanna say this. and i know i will cop it but i dont care. the bombers are nothing but a filthy, arrogant, self centred, egotistical bunch of w***ers. who, regardless of how good they r i will never EVER credit them for being as good as people say. and its not cos im and not cos im disappointed its because for so long people have marvelled at essendon and how good they think they r. going through last season with only one loss was good and blah blah blah, thats the only credit i will give them, but its time that they gave the rest of the competition the respect they reserve. James Hird and Matthew Lloyd especially should get their heads out of their arses and just realise what other people think of them (players and supporters alike) and then they might not be so far up themselves. personally i think essendon are overrated, and im entitled to my opnion so there it is.

Now back to the important stuff. there were some positives out of todays game.
1. we blooded a new player in Broadbridge. he did well altho he didnt really get the chance.

2. Nicho was great in the ruck (why the hell did you take him off neale???)

3. both neita and woey hit a little bit of form today. (well compared to last week they did)

negatives
1. SCHWARTA GOT REPORTED BUT AFTER SEEING THE REPLAY HE WILL GET OFF. HE JUST COULDNT STOP HIS FAT ARSE IN TIME AND IT CARRIED THE REST OF HIS BODY.

2. WHITE is still injured, and really should rest. (after the port game next week please.)

and yeah thats all i can think of. i think i need some vallium. hmmm or vodka. Vodka will do the job.

now ill hand the board over to you guys to come on here and bag me about what i said about the bombers but regardless of what you say im stickin by my comments.

They are violent yet soft and they are the best actors in the AFL!

their feral supporters cant lose with dignety and at the end of the game i think that the umpires cost us the game!

MELBOURNE PLAYED SO WELL... dont think i'v even been more proud and i am happy to say that all the free kicks againsts them were soft.... just like Essendon's team!

ESSENDON SUPPORTERS: you can scream and yell and bag me but at the end of the day you are way too overrated and the only reason you were so good last year was coz you were violent and got away with it (thats why doggies beat you... they are more dirty than you)... congratulation for having a soft team which gets away with just about everything!

It was a great day and a sad day for MFC. On the field they put everything into it. It was only ruined to hear the news that our president is further destabilising our club by calling this extroadinary meeting. Let's hope it does not have too much effect.
On the field, it was probably their best game for the year. But we did not take all of our chances and it cost us. The umpiring certainly didn't help but it is no excuse. I think on that performance we can beat Port.

I, for one, can't wait to see Port get rolled by the Dees on their home turf! I would love to see those Power supporters cop a beating 2 weeks in a row, its been coming for a while. My personal experience with Port Adelaide supporters has scarred me for life - although the highlight of being at Footy Park that night was seeing a Woey lookalike!!

I have never seen a bigger bunch of ********ers in my whole life!! Did anyone else see essendons banner? Finals 2000 lets crush em again bombers, i mean i cant think of anything more ARROGANT!! They thought it would be a stroll in the park and so did everyone else, that was probably better for melbourne, they came out with everyone saying they didnt have a hope in hell and pushed the "INVISIBLES" the whole way! If you look how they're goals were scored you'll see most of them were FROM free kicks or from free kicks furhter up the ground. Whereas ours were scored from hard running and skills. Either way you look at it they are a cheating bunch of assholes, What umpire is going to get the balls to do something about it!

Enough about the cheaters essendon. SERIOUSLY how does brent grgic get a game? I have lost patience with him totally, he tunred the ball over yesterday 4 times at critical moments. Everyones been saying for bloody years now ohh he'll be a superstar in the future, my arse he'll be a superstar if he keeps up his VERY POOR decision making and lack of .....BRAINS! If he doesnt get omitted this week something is seriously wrong down there! There surely is someone better in the sandy team with a few brain cells and some .......WAIT FOR IT..... SKILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

lloydy is the most quietest footballer ive seen, he distances himself from the commotion of being an afl football
and james hird is the ultimate footballer, every week looking for ways to improve and always steps up when needed, there is no way hirdy will lie down, he bleeds red and black and he wont let essendon lose, he was essentially the difference on sunday

and you can call essendon over rated, you can call us soft, you can call us ********

but having beaten you in a grand final last year and again on sunday does that make melbourne softer and ********ter?

Thats cool about the banner ... I contacted the club and apparently interstate members here in Brisbane get to hold up the banner on the ground before the game! How cool is that?? As for functions and stuff, I am still waiting to hear, I think the Queensland Demons are organising something, whether its a pre-game function or after I don't know. Whereabouts is the function in Adelaide going to be?? I bet you'll have a great time, just go easy girl! Any hints on whats going to be on the banner, and are you holding it up on the ground?? I'll be looking out for you in the crowd.
