This was one of those old bullshit games played at the scg that turns into dewy conditions and a scrap. Swans beat us at this. It was basically have a maul then one free possession that results into a kick into the fifty. Swans were great at this. We tried and power to us for turning into a club who plays the 4 quarters out.

I watched Fyfe closely as I had a bet in him to get 30 possessions. It's amazing how often he gets the ball but doesn't get a possession out due to the pressure. Or if he does it's a mad kick forward or a half smothered handball. I'm thinking we would be better served having him at centre half forward and letting the grunters do the grunt work.

Don't mean to be rude, but wtf is the point of this thread? Also, Fyfe is awesome at the grunt work.

Anyone who thought this game would be a comfortable 6-7 goal are kidding themselves, Sydney were every chance to hit back hard today.

Sydney adapted to the conditions better than we did. Fyfe's best part of plays were intercepted marks. His work in the centre was admirable but did not make best use of his talents. We can continue to have him smashed from pillar to post in the middle or come up with a different solution. He got one maybe two free possessions from sandis hit outs that even suban would have made use of. He is basically a tackling dummy who's body is being wrecked from playing in the centre.

Sorry to intrude, but the fact that our supporters are ecstatic with our pressure today shows how respected your club is in this department. No doubt you will bounce back next week and carry on your merry way
Not enough credit being given on here for Sydney's pressure, it was A grade

We just had too many passengers. Our top liners all had pretty decent games, but a lot of players in our 12-22 range had very ordinary games.

I do mean to be rude, and you're an A grade idiot.

Sydney outplayed us at pressure footy today, so some respect to them hurts nobody.

The OP is dead right - we played it out to the end instead of laying down.

Almost finals like footy today.

Bit frustrating that Sydney played by far their best footy of the season today, their pressure was unbelievable and didn't drop at all throughout the game.
