Analysis Wellingham - is he just a flash in the pan

This is wellinghams 4th season on our list and was only good in 2015 .
More interested in niggle than manning up on his opponent .
His move to defence was a revelation last season but his poor disposal has been killing us .
8 clangers from a defender is very poor .

Bad call, unfair call. came in with very little pre season and 3/4 of a game in WAFL. He'll get better and if 10 games down the track he doesn't then you can have a whinge.

He'll come good. People were saying the same thing about shep just a couple of weeks ago after his start to the year didn't quite reach the dazzling heights of last year. Watching him today he was back to 2015.

No scapegoat but is he going to return to 2013 and 2014 form where he was dropped to the wafl ?
I think it is a valid question as 2 of his 3 seasons with us have been rubbish and looked in that form today

I didn't think he was too bad today apart from the clangers. TBH most of our defence is getting a lot of unfair treatment but its because other teams are walking it through our midfield. One second we are contesting the ball on our HF then the next its down in our HB.

Judging him off injured/interrupted preseasons is the epitome of knee-jerk. We saw what he can do with a clean run.

Go seeking those with no excuse or validation for poor form.

Harsh. He wasn't that bad today at all. Both ends of the ground held up fine. Our midfield is the problem.
