Sidebottom would be the least gifted athletically but he's a clever footballer and is a big-game player.
?
he won our 2k time trial in 09 and came second to our new irish recruit last year, i think you meant to say he lacks a bit of pace, pace isnt everything.

I think Sidebottom pretty comfortably. I think he gets looked at favourably by many people, myself included, is because he has consistently played well in finals, in a few years he will be a gun.

all have different abilitys.

wellingham is a favourite of mine, very quick, strong in the tackle, takes the game on, does a lot of heavy work you dont get stats for, very courageous, really came on this year, im hoping he keeps improving.

beams is the stronger marking type, also strong in the tackle, horrid set shot for goal, not to bad on the run though, big tank, not sure he has the upside of the other 2, still very happy with him though.

sidebottom, the clever cheeky player, deceptively strong, composed, massive tank, capable of kicking bags, still plenty of maturing phisicly to do, great skill set.

they can all play inside/outside, they give us great variety.

what i love about wellers is that he always seems to be at full pace when he gets the ball, he hits the stoppages very hard and just reads it, he doesnt panic when he feels the tackle either, he just keeps going (very rare trait, almost judd like in ways (not comparing the 2 BTW)) he may not get the big stats but shit seems to happen when he gets it, in the top 5 most improved players in the comp for mine.

I meant pace and agility. None of the three boys are Judd in the athletic department, but Sidebottom in particular gets by in large part due to footy nous. Pendlebury isn't Judd, but he's still pretty quick and agile. You don't succeed in basketball without good agility.

i know what you meant, but sidders is pretty agile (he was also a very good basketballer from memorie), pendles wouldnt be much quicker than sidders if at all, both are very evasive, very similar players IMO.

Sidebottom easily.

Sidebottom's Grand Final performance in the replay confirmed this. Big game player, easily Collingwood's most talented. Should have won the Norm Smith IMO.

Beams went missing in both GF's, not as good as perhaps people thought.

Wellingham is a trier, will never be a star, just a good player.
