how many assistants have we got left?

That is what 3 or 4 assistants or other support staff that have resigned. Not a good look - is there a problem within the football dept.? Or are these changes necessary considering our dismal last 3rd of the season?

There are plenty of past players and assistants from other clubs around to fill the void left by these departures..
Some changes in the coaching staff as well as the playing list are necessary and positive, as the last third of the season was a nightmare.
The task is to find the right replacements.

maybe they have been given the option to "resign" in order to give them some hope of getting a job elsewhere. In other words it's a polite way of say your fired and you stink at your job.

Think about it, if you get fired from an assistant job in afl football who the hell would want to employ you?

The guy only lasted a year so i'm not the least bit dissapointed that he's gone.

Bond leaving will be a huge loss but he's been with us long enough and you can't stay in the one place too long in this business or you get overlooked.

Assistant coaches are a dime a dozen, there plenty around and if the problem is that they don't like rodney then that's just too bad, adios muchachos.

so we have Leon Cameron, Mathew Drain, Brad Gotch and Wayne Campbell.

Two new assistants, with new ideas can only be a good thing. Campbell should be next to go.

We had a terrible year and changes have to be made.

And thats whats happening with the playing list and the coaching staff.

The club promised a review. They promised changes. We are seing changes and no doubt there are more to come. All we should hope now is that they are the right changes.
