I just adjusted the ladder in our kitchen, and what did I see?

The mighty Melbourne Demons have moved all the way up to 2nd, that's what!

Congratulations to our team, and I look forward to being even more excited next week when we end up on top of the ladder! That's right, you heard it here first: Melbourne is going to be number 1! I'm as sure of this as I was that Chris Grant was going to swing out onto the ground when he marked it right next to the behind post in the fourth quarter and kick the ball right into the post! I was right then, and I'm right now!

I had a look at the fixture and I can see Melbourne finishing anywhere between 10-13 wins, which means there could be some finals footy on the way!
Of course if we can somehow keep this form up then we could have even more wins, andfrom there, who knows!

hehe, yes i did the same!! my 5 yr old bro checks it every week and he was like 'mishy, are you sure this is right??' and i was like 'yep!!!' and he had the biggest smile on his face!! oooohhh, i love when we do well!!

agreed...

i think every melbourne supporter you find will be happy with the way we've been playing, and our position on the ladder. sadly though, we do have to get technical... coz if this was 8 and 9th spot, and we were down by percentage after round 22, we wouldn't get into the finals - only by percentage. however, even if the lions and us win, if we win by quite a bit more than they do... we could be first aaahhh, the joy!
