I've been thinking about this. I've got a pretty decent argument for why people should believe I'm the seer:

1. Came out when very little to no heat on me (BigJoe had moved away from suspecting me)
2. Revealed an evil role that was of relatively little value (if I was in the other evil group I would have killed him at night, only Godfather would be worth sacrificing an evil member for)
3. BigJoe tried to claim seer because he knew no third party would come forward and claim it because he knew I was the real seer

Now. I have absolutely no way to exonerate Dapper. If I seer him and he's the Godfather (or Alpha, I'm confusing factions), and say he's the Alpha, people will just say that I was sacrificing someone who was going to be lynched anyway. If I seer him and say he's good, people won't believe me and will just think we're both evil. No win situation for either of us.

I guess no way to prove I'm good until I seer someone from the other faction.

Because I genuinely thought BigJoeD's group was gearing up to kill me that night, because it was semi-apparent (to them) that I'd seered him. I didn't want to take the risk of staying silent, dying, and the village losing its seer. Since the Doctor is alive and anonymous, I can stay alive for a few more days to help the village.

The fact you're trying to cast so much doubt on me when I just took a step to proving my innocence is really not helping you out.
