Which is why I wrote that the end suits shorter days then having them the start. At the start there are more contributions but if the days are shortened some will miss voting because, interest isn't as piqued/other commitments. Getting closer to the endgame, people become more interested, less chance of missed votes...shorter days become more beneficial

Would you like to run your assassin game Close Contest , few the next few days while Noobz0r gets ready? Which leads beautifully into _MKMatty 's start date, before akkaps and I get into election mode???

Oh, and IN on all counts.
Have some family friends over tomorrow evening, I could post it tomorrow in the afternoon and aim for a Monday night start and it'll probably be done by early Wednesday.

Okay, just finished watching the GoT season finale. Edits will need to be made to the roles I have been working on. Please let me know of a suitable week to run this game so I don't spoil it for anyone.

The rule is still in play, targets change at 7pm.
I think by that stage far too many are dead. I appreciate the game only started yesterday, but these games seem to have a life of three days maximum. When you compare having three phases in this as relative to Werewolf, it'd be like finishing the game after two night phases and one lynch.

Having a change of targets every twelve hours could work well, and even better you could cap people's posts per phase to 15 for instance. Would reduce spam and make it far more tactical about when you post.

EDIT: I should be clear, either/or with the above, if you cap posts at 15-20 then the game would last longer and you could have each phase last longer.

I agree with the shortened day phases, posting caps I'm not sure as it would mean limited opportunities to kill and get killed, it would lengthen the game but I wonder how it would enhance the gameplay.

Yeah, because me asking the question in here to make sure discussion isn't in the match thread is really out of line. Jesus.

It has been a long time since there was one, and I'm assuming people have either forgotten or are to new to know about it. And after the controversy about dead people posting in the thread last game, I thought I'd get on top of it. Is that ok?

What's your problem?

The reason I say this is because I would have no interest in joining the Dead PM, and it would just take up space if I was there.

I'm not sure about last game, but there was a Dead PM for Millky's game at the start of the month.
