Took until the first pick of the draft for the no trading of future picks rule to be thrown under the bus

But I want to keep this going so the rule is going under

Carry on

Gold Coast match the Patterson bid and lose picks 18,21,24,27 which is a total of 2711 points

That is a surplus of 11 points over the 2700 required to match which insufficient to generate a pick going back

Essendon now hold pick 15

ArdentEagle you are now back on the clock
I just bid on Annable mate.

Awaiting Puma who has been tagged :)

Pick 2. West Coast
Bid On - Daniel Annable (Bris Academy)

ThePuma #9
You're up mate

ThePuma #9 you need 2233 points to match using what are now picks 18,22,41,48 totalling 1844 points - a deficit of 389 points that can be carried into 2026 or you can look for a trade to generate extra points

Brisbane have no other picks with any points value

I assume we dont care about list sizes in the first 3 rounds. I.e. teams may take more or less players than list spots if its that way inclined ?

Correct

Well it appears those truly deceitful west coke eagles have stitched us up. We hand them Starcevich and Dev on a platter and overpay for a bloke with one knee so they can have pick 2 and this is how they repay us.

Sadly the Lions are not left with a lot of options here.

North have two picks I could target but they’ll be looking for something more juicer than my pick 18.

Swans also won’t trade their two seconds as they will be expecting a bid on King late teens/early 20’s and no one else has the Capitol in the second round for me to pick up 100 odd points with either 18 or 22.

So it appears I’ll have to take my medicine, accept the swap with txbyhull and hope they can stick the knife into the Eagles with Tylar and we will just bide our time and plan our revenge for when we return to Optus Stadium ten years from now.

After trading picks 48 and 56 to Fremantle for pick 44, Brisbane match the bid on Dan Annable at pick 2 needing 2233 points

Brisbane lose picks 18,22,41,48 (total 1909) which means they will carry a deficit of 324 points into 2026

WCE pick 3 - - Bid on Zeke Uwland
TerryFilk

TerryFilk you need 1960 points to match

You have picks 24,25,32,46 totalling 1750 points which is 210 short which can be a deficit carried into next year pending any pick swaps for additional points you can negotiate
