Alright I will finish making my roast beef, 3 cheese, pickle and mustard toastie then get back to you all.

Pick 21 + 40 or 50 is on the table for a trade back of 2 selections

I find myself in the position to take a premium talent with pick 21, an incredibly surprising one at that. It was a toss up between Phillipou and this guy.

Fremantle select ‘The Bison’ Mitch Marsh, 190cm Hybrid FWD out of West Adelaide.

Adept aerially, elite 1 on 1 and a fantastic kick on goal, Marsh has shown flashes further up field even as far as the wing late in the season, showing off an impressive field kick and endurance. 30 goals in SANFL u18s and 2 late games with 18 and 20 touches pushing closer to the action, as well as 12 goals in 4 games at champs, he’s too good to pass up here.

Pfft, I dunno...he doesn't look THAT good.

Dont match Ardent. Too early

I'm going to get flamed for this but I'm going to pass. I just think it's too early for my liking.

No good call way too early. Way too much emphasis on his combine results.

I feel it needs to be remembered that although this bid was made at pick 20, WCE don’t need to use that pick to match.

In this instance it was pick 29 with 35 sliding back to 46

So the comparison isn’t between Tylah and those players still on the board at pick 20, it’s between him and who is likely to still be available at pick 29

A club has to really like him to throw up a bid this early

There’s players in the mid-late 30s I’d take before Tylah. Saw that ArdentEagle had pick 29, no way I’m burning that on Tylah. Looking forward to seeing who is selected at that pick.

I definitely couldn't be a list manager, first pick was fun but now I'm just sitting here salty as **** watching all the players I hoped would slide get picked up.

It is a draft that these type of risky selections will be made.

Our recruiters needs to think long and hard about how much we value Williams Banfield and Evans.

My selection of Williams for the cats was probably too early. I toyed with taking barker but the ACL spooked me. The Poo wasn't interested in as I think the cats have enough mids. It really came down to Williams as speculative pick that would change the look of the forward 6 or taking a ruckman Emmett as the cats don't have a ruckman.

I would urge them not to think hard about Banfield. If the Bode were to have placed a bid on Charlie at this point in the draft, I would bloody well hope we match it.

Not sure your point in considering Emmett. Geelong have 3 developing young rucks in have Conway (206cm 22 year old taken at pick 24) plus Edwards (206cm 20 year old taken at pick 32) and Pike (203cm 20 year old taken as a rookie from local Geelong). They also have Neale who is a KPF/Ruck at 203cm.

Cats just sacked me as list manager!

I did factor this into my thinking but I do have someone else I want to take that might last until my next pick.

I be think theyre going to be very good.

Also other NGAs I just like better.

Again, I'm just a video watching nuffie, although I think I've got a good eye.

Most recent example of a polarising player was Logan Morris. I was strongly on his camp
