The first live game I clearly remember was at the WACA against the Brisbane Bears in pissing rain. It was rd 7 1987 and the first night match hosted at the WACA. I still remember standing out in the rain against the fence watching while dad was in the members bar staying dry with some Swan Golds. Much like most of my cricket memories actually except for the rain. I suspect I might have been to one of the earlier games but that one stuck in the mind.

The first game I saw WC play outside of WA was the 06 Grand Final. Got tickets about half an hour before bounce down. Also my first time at the G- hard one to beat.

Our first win at Victoria Park too according to the commentary.

We ended up with a positive win-loss ratio at that ground.
I used to think that no other current club (not counting the Pies) had that.
However on checking, Brisbane (then Bears) played there only once for one win.

Yeah we lost the first 3 at VP then won 4 straight.

I saw our last 2 there.

Was great!!

Walking back to the train by myself was a bit nervy though.

Although in my experience fans of teams that have won are by far worse. A cocky, arrogant bunch (any teams fans)
