Surely he is a big loss being the big boss and all of the Womans team.
Strange we have lost a fair chunk of staff over the teams.

It's an unfortunate loss. He has been behind basically everything getting the women's team off the ground even helping scout for players here and over east. He phones players and staff constantly always checking how they are. Was completely dedicated to the cause from day 1 when starting the academy to last Monday. I don't know what other Head's of Football do at the other clubs but Adam was the key figure in everything WC women's. There were lots and lots of tears from the girls with the announcement. Quite sad.
As to why, don't know yet, but with many of the staff it has largely just come down to covid restrictions on what money they can spend (even if it sits in the bank). Many of these staff had already given up bigger salaries elsewhere to be at the club. covid slashed and burned that with many positions lost, and pay of the remaining restricted so much, some have just had to move on. Most fans won't notice it from the outside as the players are still getting paid and giving their best, as is the senior coach, but behind the scenes the backroom staff in the clubs have been annihilated and the remaining having to pick up the slack. And if it's like this at WC, one of the wealthiest clubs, I would hate to see what the women's side of things have been left with at clubs like North or Bullies going into next year.

Yes Selwood was a big player in women’s footy at both West Coast and local league level, so its surprising in one hand, but not considering all I’ve been told from within the club as to what covid has done.

Like the cut of her jib. She doesn't mind talking a fair bit of trash, but she hardly backed it up last year TBH.

Agreed. Her focus should be getting involved more than once a game for more than a minute. Has weapons but rarely uses them effectively for long enough to impact a game.
