Why are they thinking of renaming the Hawks the Hawthorn Hens?
Because they are golden brown, their wings don't work and they keep getting stuffed.

I guess it's better having people make jokes about your team than it is being a supporter of a team which is a joke. Like two thirds of the people in this thread.

I guess it's better having people make jokes about your team than it is being a supporter of a team which is a joke. Like two thirds of the people in this thread.

I do, melody is simple 4/4 beat but has a middle section where I utilise some minor chords and augmented chords to bring it home for the final verse chorus.....along the lines (pardon the pun) of some trippy Pink Floyd stuff....:thumbsu:

Interesting.

I agree on the straight 4/4, but I kind of had in mind a minor or maybe even diminished feel for the verse to build a little suspense. Then right when it's about to peak (pardon the pun), bang into a very quirky major sounding chorus, perhaps chugging along on E7, then A, D for the "sooky...la..la" bit.
