Best win since Carlton @ Etihad last year. Anyone (particularly those partial to postcode 6160) who says "yeah, but you were playing at home" can get knotted. Great to finally beat the Fagpies after 5 long years and 7 attempts.

Kudos to Butler. On Friday I said this was a big game for him in terms of his future. He was fantastic. Not sure what role he was playing but he was everywhere. Almost tempted to consider him part of a midfield rotation now that Rosa is out.

We won't start favourites against the Hawks but we're a chance. I wasn't even considering that 24 hours ago.

Think we can do well against Hawthorn. IMO they still struggle with good big forwards, with JK back should make it awkward for them.
Also they give little credit to the ruck position playing Hale & Roughead there, which is another area that we can beat them. If the mids play like they did tonight clearances from that ruck domination should happen.

Some of the ruck taps and clearance work was beautiful, huge chance of upsetting Hawks if we run as hard and are as dedicated as we were v Pies, best game of the year, dont stop!
