For mine i see that as a endurance/ workrate thing. Needs to get the repeat leads up like Hansen.

I do partially agree with this, he certainly doesn't sit back in the goalsquare though.

Notte kicking 4 against Peel's reserves, RESERVES, is like kicking a bag again against A-Reserve ametuers.

That club is a rabble. It's reserves are terrible.

Notte needs to do alot more than that.

Also partly agree with this, but tempered with Underdog's post that Swans reserves haven't one a game and there are quite a few younger players stat whoring there so they get a game in the league side for the finals. As you would well know Mm, reserves is a very selfish level of football and there is not much cohesion in the play. BUt yes, a big bag would do his confidence the world of good.

How has JON finished up, sounds like promising signs for him. Hopefully he has a big preseason to build his tank and frame.

Played his best game so far. He needs a strong preseason to improve his fitness but he is poetry in motion when he runs. He seems to glide over the ground and his kicking is (usually) spot on. One bullet pass he delivered today was not more than a metre high and smack onto the chest of the forward. I have high hopes for him next year. :thumbsu:

He was good. Balance of inside and outside work was better, he's a strong tackler so he's getting some decent bulk on him.

As far as im concerned Notte could kick 15 goals and give the lady in Row 3 a screaming orgasm with just a blank stare and it still wouldnt be enough at this stage of the year. Send him to the gym I say and dont let him out of it until he looks like he could beat me up

Personally glad neither you nor that hypothetical "screaming lady" are responsible for weekly selections then...

Not sure if people are aware of this site (I only just found it)

Full replays of last week's ABC WAFL game available, as well as the other state leagues (VFL and SANFL).

Re: NAB RND 3 - Western Bulldogs Vs Port Adelaide @ ES

At the swans and tigers game. I'm watching tony closely and if this is a typical game for him we're ****ed. He does that mcdougal thing where he stands in no mans land. When he leads he doesn break out of a jog. If he happens to find himself in a contest he easily gets outbodied. I say him go fro a contested mark before and he didn't jump. Easily the worst forward on the ground.

What were those goals like? Can anyone describe his game?

Late developer, Richmond will soon be regretting letting him go :)

east perth are winning by around 15+ goals...so make of it what you will.

nevertheless, very encouraging effort. hopefully he finishes the season strongly and maybe he can make his debut.

Think we've found our speedy goal kicking winger. Any chance he could debut this year?

Don't know if he was playing on a wing, but yeah, damn right - we've found him. 6.1 and a whole bundle of kicks - it's been building to this. I hope is given a couple of games towards season's end now - NEXT WEEK, kinda thing.
McKinely looks like he had a good game too - 3.3 and about 18 kicks.

Liking what I'm hearing about JON.:thumbsu:

Surely T. Motlop from Souths is worth a mid - late draft pick, felt he play ok today and is still young. Those pissed about not having that Jetta type player this bloke is the goods. Probably not as fast but better awareness and goal sence. Allistar "buddy" pickett is worth a rookie selection. Didn't do much today but if he can turn out like his dad he is 36 and still rips up.

Claremont v swans was a draw and ended in controversy. Ninyette had a shot from 50 odd and ball was punched in on the siren. it was a draw before the kick and the point would have wo them the game.

Worth another mention. Dunno if I'd be beating down the doors with excitment just yet.
