I wouldn't mind the Baker's and Owies' if they were free hits to bring in some bodies but trading down from your cream of the crop draft picks (you know the reward for being crap) to bring them in is mind boggling.

Baker is heart and soul and he would be great for a young group but they paid a premium and it clearly hasn't helped them on field.

Somehow they have gone backwards from last year.

The 80s, 90s, 00s & up until they finally won it was a long long time swimming in turd soup for the Richmond faithful. Snag 2 & 3/4 flags in the IPhone era doesn't make up for it & you guys know that in your hearts. How many relatives passed away in that time?

Remember when it was a proud thing to say that AFL players dont play for free kicks as apposed to soccer? That cant be said for what we are dished up these days & you get crowds moaning for a free kick at every chance now. Its ok West Coast are down for a bit, our supporters dont have reason to be salty, the ride was good for such a long time.

Richmonds successful style though successful turned footy into like watching kids run all over the school yard for the ball. Well done.

Yes it was a wonderful period for Richmond. A Dynasty. 3 Premierships in 4 years. Not many teams do it.

Fourth year of bottom 4 and I'm not sure if they've actually truly bottomed out yet.

Yes with Gov and Sheed having to retire, Waterman and Allen hardly playing, Yeo being Yeo and having a gap year and with Harley out for the last game we are a easy kill.
Having a lot of senior players missing most of the year has made for a taxing year.

We lost to a side with Four father sons and it seems more on the way.
The draft is greatly compromised. If we have pick 1 and 2 this year we will not get the best two players in the draft due to the Northern academies.
We don't know where the hawks first round pick will end. It could shuffle back another ten picks.
Yes the draft is unfair for many teams.

It's just a weird situation when it came to Liam Baker. He was out of contract and in his 7th season. Why didn't Richmond give him one more season?

Would of been easier. That means 8 years and eagles don't need to do a trade, get him as a free agent and tigers get a compensation pick.

This is a good reason why free agency should go down from 8 years to 6 or possibly even 5 years
