This side is still the same mentally soft pretenders they were in 2015, they just hid it well early in the year. Ever since they went one game clear on the ladder they've switched off and played like they thought the flag was theirs. Still need one or two great mids with mongrel that will stand up when the game is there to be one before they can be considered a genuine flag threat imo.

I've never underrated it, he is an out-and-out superstar who makes the Eagles a contender. Take him out of the game (or the season) and we struggle. That said, no Kennedy or Darling and no change to the game plan doesn't help. Waterman, Lecras and Ryan were never going to clunk marks like those two.

Maybe but at this stage they are still on same amount of wins as 1st so it may not - guess we will wait and see. But having a form slump and still being equal with 1st place is promising.

Last night doesn't define WC. They had a pretty bad night, like every team can and will have. About this time last year St Kilda led Richmond at HT 92-10. Didn't matter 3mths later.
