The more I watch the replay the more bemused I am that we wouldn’t challenge it, even on principle.
We can’t allow incidents like that end with suspensions. We’re letting the game down by not fighting the charge.

Pathetic by the VFL, and even worse by our club for not challenging that ridiculous ban 
If dishing out 2 week bans for perfectly executed sheppards within 5m of the ball is what the VFL wants in womans footy, it's not going to grow or get much respect.

If someone got cited for that bump in the mens comp there'd be a public outcry & VFL media w***ers (Whately, Robbo) would be talking about it ad nauseam.
It irks me that because it's the womans game, a joke decision like that can just be handed out and swept under the rug without anyone caring.

Yeah that was a perfect bump. Can’t believe she’s been suspended for that. Weak by WC to not contest it either.

Girl Swanson hit is out with concussion so there must've been a bit more to it I guess
Probably hit her head on the turf. She had no idea the contact was coming, but I don't think that's Swannys fault. Footy is a 360° game.

That’s obviously no good, but was that potentially from her hitting the ground? Needs to be more aware than she was.

Possibly was a head clash, which would explain the high contact rating

Yeah cause concussion is about the brain just as likely to get it from brain hitting skull. Not a doctor, probably wrong.

I thought the same but wasn't sure. If anything it would have to be intense whiplash. Probably more like car crash than blind side tackle
I will be watching with interest the Dangerfield outcome from his choosing to bump and collecting head high. Per theEmma Swanson ruling, that’s worth a 2 week holiday.
