Ugh, co-captains...but not surprised. Drenno and Hooker are in their mid 30's, Smithy and Swanny are 30, Gibbo's 29 and Western's 26. Other than Annabel Johnson and McDonald who're 24 the literal rest of the list is 22 and younger, so I assumed it was gonna go to either or both girls who were on either side of Daisy in the team photo who were Bella and Chuck.

Bella's 22 and Chuck's 21 so I don't mind so much it being a shared responsibility at this stage since they still got plenty of growth in their own games to do as well as trying to lead the club.

I’m sure they will have the same reasoning as the men’s side that the player vote was too close and they couldn’t split them.

Surely in that scenario the coaches just pick one and make the other the vice.

Never been a fan of co-captains.

Don’t mind the co-captains, they’re both super young.

Yeah I think I'm gonna have to mirror the sentiments of most on the board.... Not a huge fan of Co-Captaincy....but we picked the right 2. It's awesome that our core group of talent are all so young still.... Can't wait to see them all crack in this season. Hurry up already!!

Co captains has been around a lot in US and other AFL teams so we are just catching up.

This is a new era and I for one cannot see why all the moaning about co captains.

The two players we thought should be in the running get the job. How about we celebrate that!!!

People have their own views on what effective leadership is. It's always going to divide opinion.

I understand The Office is comedy but I thought the plotline where Michael/Jim were co-managers demonstrated the pitfalls of that structure pretty effectively.

I think that’s more like having two coaches.

There’s a line in there about prioritizing her mental health and wellbeing, not sure if that’s related to her concussion or not.
