I might have to get Upson on the back of my new shirt. I love the bloke. He was immense last night as was all of the defence. Even Neill was okay (however seeing him get outpaced by Andy Reid was sad). Ilunga did superb vs a tough RW like Malbranque and Edwards. Sign him up ASAP

Midfield was decent but not great. Parker great, Behrami great. Bowyer was a shower of shit though. I can understand why Zola gave him the start. Nows not the time to play 19 year olds for 90 mins away from home. Faubert showed glimpses and tracked back very well but he needs to get forward a whole lot more. I can see why we bought him. Hes got alot of talent. ATM the application or the football brain isnt there

The strike force was awful last night. Bellamy scuffed his one on one. Why he went right for I will not know, and Cole made alot of poor decisions when he was on the ball. We need a whole lot more and these 2 need to develop a better partnership if we are to get ourselves out of the bottom 5/10.

You seem to like posting in our thread, you're not a Hammer in disguise are you?

I dont mind the Hammers, got a few players I like to watch, and a few that will turn out to be guns.

Was that where Bahrami missed a sitter?

Collins was also great. Him and Upson were rocks last night.

Hard to blame Behrami for that miss. He was charging in and had players from infront and behind closing him down like a rapid fire. Really Bellamy should of taken it on himself I thought.

Embers, Behramis miss was very poor. Thank god he scored earlier, otherwise I would be fuming at him.

It was alot harder then it looked. Bellamy had the easier chance with the one on one but got himself into a horrible position. Im not sure why Behrami was the one making the run into the box, where the **** was Cole, Bowyer and Parker.

Well I didn't see Bowyer or Cole the whole game so I wouldn't expect them to be making runs into the box.

Good point. Theres still no updates on the whereabouts of Noble, Dyer, Tristan or Gabbidon. I believe all four are gonna make guest appearances on Lost in the near future. I cant understand why we are told so little about our injured players. We need Noble back ASAP

It was easier to score than miss.

Seriously?

The dude had a side foot from about 3 yards :D

Even Robbie Keane might have got a boot on that one!

Absolutely huge result for us considering who we have over the next few games.

Neill is past it as a RB, and I hope we bring in Mancienne ASAP during the transfer window to replace him.

A new left winger who's better than Boa Morte or Etherington would be nice also.

Dont use lies to get a point across. Looks like im in the minority but Bellamy should of buried the first chance.

As for Behramis chance, Sprinting in and hitting a ball while travelling as fast as he was with 2 players closing you down isnt as easy as it looks.

Definetly need a new right back. Even getting Spector back might be a short term improvement. Getting skinned by Andy Reid is just well sad. As far as LW goes maybe sell one of Boa Morte and Ethers to anyone who will take them and use the very little cash we get from them to bring a bloke like Scott Sinclair in on loan from Chelsea. 6 mill maybe for both Mancienne and Sinclair

just had a quick browse over the EPL site.

'COLE SIGNS 5 YEAR DEAL'

thats quite incredible considering he won't get a game when Ashton returns.

Don't know what we were thinking their, maybe setting up the sale of Deano in Jan?

The length of contracts in football are about as irrelevant as contract details get. Hes a handy player to keep around

Or just making sure while he is under contract if you want to sell him off you make sure you get something in return.

More good news is that Mark Noble, Jonathan Spector, James Tomkins and Kieron Dyer will all be resuming full training this week :thumbsu:

Out Bowyer in Collison and play Noble off the bench.
