Great win, Black Swans!! That was some game, we were pretty dominant in the first couple of quarters and could have lead by more at half time but still held a reasonable lead nonetheless. The last two terms were a complete arm wrestle which suited us really given we had a good lead at half time. In the end it was a fairly comfortable win, something we can all be proud of.
TheInjuryFactory was a star again with a best on ground performance while Barrybran, CakeEater, Agent93 and Matera92 also played solid games to help us establish a good lead and then get us home.
Nice to get the win and make our way through to the Grand Final. We'll need to bring our best for the GF in a few days' time in what's going to be a big game!!

Thanks everyone for your contributions this series. It’s a hard task to pick a team when everyone is up and about and posting but we’ve really enjoyed everyone getting amongst it and buying into the concept. Next series we go one better.

Bad luck, Black Swans. Our start wasn't too great and the next couple of quarters was spent playing catch-up which is tough to do. We did managed to cut the lead on several occasions to get ourselves back in the game but we left ourselves a bit too much to do. In the end, the last quarter wasn't all that great to cap off a disappointing result.
Barrybran had a great game to be our best player and received good support from BLUEALLTHRU and Tommycash with Tarkyn_24 putting in a strong captain's performance on what was a pretty tough day overall.
It's obviously not great to lose a Grand Final but Series 16 was an improvement again on last series after just missing the final and then two series which weren't too great before then so we can definitely be happy with our efforts even though the decider didn't go as planned. Hopefully we can build on the form we showed this series in the coming series next year and have another crack at claim the State of Origin premiership.
