I thought Clever was very good WA. Defended Mattaes Phillipou well and was very effective on the rebound too.

My 10 things

1. Hewett's mark. He's a special talent.
2. Ashton Moir. 4 goals and a threat all day. Look forward to him next year.
3. Speaking of next year, Allen, Edwards, McDonald, Tholstrup and Sanchez all looked comfortable for WA.
4. The ground was a vast improvement on Kardinia, and made for a more open game. Why they play these showcase games on a mud pile with no wings if baffling. Also enjoyed the commentary - whoever it was, did a great job.
5. Adam D'Aloia was busy all day for SA. Liked the work he did at the bottom of packs.
6. Tyrell Dewar - West Coast NGA. Worth a look.
7. Speaking of NGA's Jasper Scaife had another strong game (Freo NGA), also worth a look.
8 Ginbey strengthened his 1st Round claims
9. Good games for WA also from Jones, Cleaver, Hagan, Davies
10. Good games for SA also from Lovelock, Barnett, Keeler (faded) and Verrall
