The rate at which Inglis scores is such a weapon

Carey definitely doesn’t have it all his own way

JI the better gloveman too
Been saying this for ages. Carey is a decent bat and an average gloveman.

Ingo is a great gloveman and is slowly establishing himself as a great red ball batter as well. Carey would, and should be nervous.

Inglis has a batting average only 1-2 runs lower than Carey in all formats, but higher strike rate, especially in shorter forms. He's also 3 years younger.

Career Batting averages can be quite a misleading stat - the average over the last 24-36 months is more relevant IMO - (which may look the same anyway)

It looks from a hierarchy POV they are keen for Carey to do Test/ODI and allow someone like a Philippe to do T20

The lad keeps making tons and they won't be able to ignore him - we may get to the stage where he and Carey are the 6th/7th best bats in the country anyway - a bit like Bairstow/Buttler

The Morris selection is a strange one. He's the 5th best seamer in that side, won't get that many overs, and you have a young spinner there who can give a change up.

And of course he gets Dean in his next over

Such a strange scorecard - 3 100s then the next best score is 13.

Normally with 3 tons you'd think it was a road - but doesn't seem to be the case at all.

Albeit - the WACA has always rewarded those who take the time to adjust to the pace/bounce - they can usually profit pretty well.

That INGO/Paris Partnership was crucial. Could have easily been a mid to high 200 total if it weren't for them.
