To free agency.

He won't get as big a contract next year from anyone else after an ACL.

He'll still get a decent one from the dogs though. He was backing himself next year and now that's stuffed so he has to now go hard for 2025 and 2026 for a big 2027 deal

I think you are probably right but I still reckon Geelong and Hawthorn (especially) will throw the cheque book at him.

The Dogs wouldn't want to lowball him from a financial perspective imo

There's plenty of clubs who would pay big.

Hawthorn for sure will come large for him. Have the money and he is the right age demographic for what they are building.
