Of course they cant pull a crowd.

Just two minutes into the game, Rodney Eade flooded the Demons forward line with all 18 of his players.

Would you go and watch that rubbish?

u toss. 90% were doggies supporters as dees supporters dont like the dome. Were u there.

Also in round 2 we had more supporters than Melbourne at their home game as it was our replacement game.

Also check this out:
RND 6: Dogs vs Eagles, Crowd: 29,927
RND 14: Hawks vs Eagles, Crowd: 29,138
2004: Hawthorn 7.11 (53) Port Adelaide 15.15 (105) MCG 11,682 Sunday, 18 July

Melbourne supporters don't go to the dome, even though I did. I thought it was a good turnout by Bulldogs supporters, especially for a game against 16th.

Round 2, Mar 28-30, Melbourne v Western Bulldogs, Crowd: 27,821 at the MCG
Doesn't seem to make much difference which venue does it? Don't Melb supporters go see their team at all.

RND 6: Dogs vs Eagles Comfy and warm inside at the dome on a Sat night.
RND 14: Hawks vs Eagles outside in the cold at end of a work day.
2004 ancient history.

No super, Dees supporters just don't turn up...
common now you were home feeding the chooks
Must have been just the Hawks supporters makin' up the 40k plus on rounds 1 and 9 then.
:D

Hawthorn V Melbourne - 40141
Melbourne V Hawthorn - 41385

Melbourne V W Bulldogs - 27927
W Bulldogs V Melbourne - 27437

More recently;

Hawthorn V Sydney - 49,529

6th greatest Sydney Swans crowd outside Sydney EVER (Waverley farewell game aside which was a Hawthorn game anyway)

Hawthorn holds 3/10 Sydney's biggest home and away crowds outside Sydney, including 1st (72130) the 7th (49539) and 8th (48398) in 1999, 2008 and 2007

BTW, I imagine this thread is in response to the memberforever thread on the main board, who clearly has an unhealthy obsession with us.

This hasn't got anything to do with the decent, quality Bulldogs supporters

Hmmm... crowd was much less at that game too. At we don't have to sell four of our home games (overseas :D) each year.

Just sell the 2 and take the stock standard $2m charity a year then :D

Why is everyone bleating about hte 30,000 crowd? I thought it was pretty good.
Vs North the crowd was 42,500 (I think 27,000 were Hawks Supporters)
Vs WCE the crowd was 29,000 (27,000 were hawks Supporters).

I think 27k is around the Hawks core support mark.
North have around 19,000 Core supporters which front up every week regardless to home matches.
The Hawks would have 27,000 Core supporters who'd show up each week regardless.

Yep, about the same as the dogs

Just the lazy 14,000 off then 'memberforever'?

Yeh and you know what next against the Geelong the crowd will only be 27,000 again. Man I hate it when we can pull a crowd but then I am more concerned about winning the game. Give me 4 points ahead of big crowds every day.

Haha ha so funny., thats why this thread is in Bay 13

I don't have an unhealthy obession with hawthorn supporters.. Just trying to bring back to earth a few hawk supporters who have become very arrogant. The majority of Hawthorn supporters are fine.

Considering how well the Western Bulldogs are performing and the fact that they are second on the ladder you'd think that they'd be able to pull a better crowd to the Dome than 27,446. It's not the venue either, when the Bulldogs played Melbourne at the G in round 2 they got about the same crowd. How are they going to keep their head above water? Very pathetic effort by their supporters.

Round 3: Geelong VS Melbourne, 23969, SS(not at full capacity)
Round 10: St Kilda VS Melbourne, 27854, TD
Round 12: Richmond VS Melbourne, 27348, TD

Round 3: Western Bulldogs VS St Kilda, 38667, TD
Round 5: Western Bulldogs VS Richmond, 37767, TD
Round 11: St Kilda VS Western Bulldogs, 38914, TD

You chose two Melbourne games. As you can see they pull in less crowds. You lack logic........

It shits me that we're supposed to move our game to another city to accommodate the Dogs supporters who won't even show up to their own games. They have less members this year than last, and they expect Geelong to give away our advantage so we can get a crowd like that, not to mention the fact that we'd definitely make less money.
