Contrary to a report on radio this afternoon, the Western Bulldogs have not made a final decision regarding the appointment of a senior coach for the 2003 season.
As you are all well aware, the selection process to appoint the Western Bulldogs new senior coach has been underway for several weeks and is still continuing.
Although a decision regarding this appointment is imminent, no final decision has been made.
At the appropriate time and when a final decision has been made, all media will be advised of an announcement regarding the appointment of the new Western Bulldogs senior coach.
Until this time, any speculation in the media or from any other source can only be described as false.
