Who are we kidding watched deer park on the weekend give them the cup from now WOW!! Let's not waste time have an early season because nobody is going to beat them I seen Jackson play thought he was injured but played really well and Adam el Houli

Yeah and the Grand Final at Whitten Oval probably will suit them more then most with that Midfield and more room up forward for an over flowing Forward line.
Questions to still play out for them though ;
* Will they finish on top, % may decide that if both Hoppers & Deer Park stay undefeated.
*If second will having to go the long way and not having a week off effect their older group?
*Who of the big point players misses out come GF to fit in under the 50 points as they have been borderline for weeks with 2-3 higher point players missing?
*Can one of the other finalist come up full strength with No outs or injuries concerns because its the only way they are going to be competitive against Deer Park?
I for one hope its not as one sided as last year!

Any truth to the persistent rumours that some clubs have expressed interest in moving leagues next season including so traditional div1 clubs, due to to dominance of Deer Park?
 
what do you guys think of ash heavers rumoured decision to try and chase money in the wrfl next season? If i was a yarraville or caroline springs i would be tabling an offer to the young inside midfielder. He can certainly add depth to a fledgling midfield.
 
Will Luke Goetz go back to Altona for the rest of the season? Could be a great pick up for them before finals.

Most clubs are sitting back waiting for the money to dry up.

Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what the penalty is for playing an over points side.
Just wondering what is stopping Deer Park playing their best side in the G/F (regardless of points) and worrying about repercussions later on.
 
Can`t get your Team Sheet in Online if over 50 points so that shouldn`t happen. WRFL you would think would police this?

Cant be done.When the players are put on the team list before each game on the computer for the league it automatically tells you when 50 points are up. It wont allow you to add any more over 50
 
Reports coming out FEV could be out for season ???
That would be unfortunate you never want those kind of injuries to the Elite players of our competition! Especially after losing Post only a couple weeks before to a serious Injury for season.
Their would be a few Backmen breathing a bit easier knowing they don`t have that headache come finals !
But a loss for us spectators who enjoy just watching quality players like they are.

How come Rhett Coots is playing reserves for Deer Park? Surely someone good enough to be on The Recruit is too good for division one reserves.

Maybe he is a part of the 50 point shuffle as he has played 8 senior games ! someone has to get sacrificed each week to stay under.

Yep agree. Also what might have helped is Albion's current coach is a former player who has got them in a reasonable position and just stepping aside. It's great news for the club and a credit to the current coach to do a handover..
 
How is Shayden Bloomfield going, I noticed he wasn't playing recently against Werribee. Great player, is he still playing?

Really sad to see how a once promising father son pick has fallen so far from grace. Rumours are that he popped the question to his mrs Abbey Robbins during the week. Hopefully she can get him off the shit and he can get back to playing no nonsense footy.
