Re: Western Region Football League team

yeah maybe your right about pattie but i reckon your a bit harsh on condos he kicked 85 goals remembering he was only 21 this year as a 22yold he kick 80 goals for keilor in the edfl which is regarded alot better comp than wrfl what do you think ?
Dont get me wrong the big fella will be handy. I am sure he will kick plenty but unless he is fitter and the team stronger than the parkside won in which he kicked 80, the bigger grounds in finals time may find him out.

As for the other fella, the little I know of him as a bloke is that he is a pretty easy going fella and well liked by most.

As a footballer I think he suffers a little from others expectations and more is expected from him than he could deliver early on. Was easily intimidated by the ugly colts defenders but seemed to do well against others.

Seen him play a couple of games for Keilor this year and the more open footy suited his style. He and Cooper seemed to have a good understanding and worked well together. The VAFA should suit him ever better. I have no doubt he will make a name for himself in due time.

Far out that's fukcen crazy. No wonder teams like that dominate. How you reckon they'll go in A grade now?
i think they will make the finals but probly wont win it but depends who else they get theyve already recruited 8-10 good a grade players from last years list which already had a couple of good a grade players

Broadbent well over rated - hard at the footy but disposal terrible, sold the farm on a club that lined his pockets well. Zavalas would buy and sell him as a player and person. I feel Albion will be far better off without a bloke that walks out the way he has. He has had 5 clubs in 6 years what does that say about him. Loyality to a jumper NO.

Re: Western Region Football League team

Everyone says this about Broadbent but until you actually meet the bloke you probably shouldnt comment. he went to albion with his mate Shanks who isnt coaching again for whatever reason. why does that mean he has to stay there? its his choice where he plays footy, and he is originally an EDFL bloke so whats the problem with him heading back there? if hes on good coin then good luck to him... its football these days.

i love how u blokes jump on things u wouldnt no the reason behind it mate at all! $1000 a game not even close so u can stick that rumour! 3 clubs in 6 years so ur wrong again im not ging into any details about it im not into that shit but one thing il say is i enjoyed my time at albion and for one reason or another few things didnt workout! So any rumours are al wrong and b*llshit! so ur info is wrong. if u think Albion would be better off without their captain and b&f winner then they're ur thoughts not the clubs i wouldnt think! I dont really no Zavalas that well so to say he would buy and sell me as a player and a person is a bit rich i think. Iwish zavalas and the club all the best and we move on! Tthats all i say about the issue i think theres better things on here to talk about!

Re: Western Region Football League team

For what its worth all u blokes who bagged Shanks and Broadbent at the start of the year i think taking Albion to its first finals in 21 years and nearly a prelim final was a fair effort dont u think? Its always good to not woorry bout the knockers and just go ahead and do it the way u think works and is best! All the best for everyone next year.

who cares how many clubs the blokes played for? last time i checked footy didnt follow the blood in blood out rule, if he can get money at different clubs good on him, wot i saw of him this year he wasnt anything special, good player but not outstanding in anyway...just like alot of players gettin round out there. maybe he hasnt found a club that fits him right yet or just likes to mix it up every couple years. who cares where he or anyone else goes or does with the footy. makin massive mountains out of non existent molehills i reckon....

any real news bout wrfl?? lets hear some stuff from the lower half of the ladder...any new signings or coaching changes that might change the layout of the ladder next year? gets a bit dry with the same teams top and bottom every year, can understand why players leave the league
