The good thing about Juice on the weekend is that we are left in no doubt that he will never play AFL footy again.

Fitzy is playing for Casey RESERVES

Fitzy has been playing in Casey's senior side for the last 8 weeks (didn't play at all on the weekend) and as number 1 ruck. He has been pretty good also with last week being his best game for Casey.

As another poster aluded to with the possible changes to the interchange and rotations were going to see more clubs persist with one ruckmen and a tall forward come ruckmen like Leigh Brown and Hawkins. If this game actually meant something i doubt Newton would of played.

Did enough to be picked in the Vic metro side, then went on to test well despite his illness. Leads me to believe he has some ability. The other thing I like about him is his willingness to do what it takes to make it. He also seems to have an appetite for the contest.

Yea i dont' subscribe to that theory, the way footy is moving big forwards, unless they are super freaks, like Franklin will become less and less. Moible forwards will be what clubs will use having a forward line where 4-5 players kick between 20-50 goals each.

There is no point in playing a bloke becuase he is big and strong and can provide a contest but is useless at ground level and doesn't win enough of the footy. Miller and Newton could of provided this contest for us all year but they are not good enough to be in the side.

Petterd, Jurrah, Green, Bate, Watts, Wona, Bennell, Tapscott can make a dangerous forward line.
