I know it has been a bit of a meme in the past from Pav's initial speech, but holy **** there's something about those ominous hell's bells and "Wharfie Time" flashing on the screen that just pumps adrenaline through your veins, doesn't matter how you feel at any point in the game, as soon as it's time, the aura and the mood completely shifts in the stadium, that was probably the loudest reaction I've heard to Wharfie Time, it got the crowd completely fired up and you can tell it lights something inside the boys too, almost essentially saying "Let's finish this"

It's already catching on with neutrals but Wharfie Time could seriously become huge, doesn't matter who you are, doesn't matter what you think, you can't help but get excited.

Hearing the crowd erupt when that ominous bell rings out is amazing, and if we can have an extended period as a dominant team at home it has the potential to become a real psychological weapon against visiting teams too.

As someone else said in the post-match thread, in an era of cheesy and overdone 'crowd engagement' we've really hit on a winner there that magnifies the atmosphere tenfold right at the perfect time.

I would implore the club to keep it forever and make it real cultural icon of the club, as long as they continue to only use it sparingly and in the appropriate context so as to not water down the effect.

One thing I’d like to see, and this is really quibbling with the details, is the typeface for when Wharfie Time flashes on the screen shouldn’t be some sans-serifed Helvetica rubbish. It needs to be a ye olde one like Caslon or Baskerville.

As much as match day entertainment and the likes are unpopular on BF, I think it's something we've always thrived at (minus Purple Rain in 2018 and Coldplay last year)

But this year we've fully taken it up to another level.
