It was worthy of a free kick, but if thats a suspendable offense then football has become very VERY soft, i bet if it was reversed and it was McPharlin hitting Milli like that you would be praising such a hit! Also conversely IMO the hit on McDougall was high but not malicious, exactly like Milli's, prob broken Doogs jawbone:( but not deliberately . Its football, it happens, obviously you wanna see them play netball out there. Pity

From where I was sitting I saw him raise his elbow , The same view the ump got . He is gone

Report by sum arseclown in white probably the same arseclown that made the report in the first place has been withdrawn. It was only worthy of a freekick anyway IMO.

Whether he gets a week or not doesn't really matter there is no way that they would be stupid enough to play him next week if they do it will be as it was against Freo, an extra player for the opposition. They may as well have trotted out Sumich.

Lack of respect

Well FreoGirl and FreoHitman - you are either the same person or closely related ( is there a lot of in-breeding down Freo ??). Your total lack of repect for a 2 times Premiership player and club champion does you no credit.

Your club has never had a player of the calibre of Ashley McIntosh.

Fortunately Connelly, Bell and Haselby are not a reflection of the bulk of your supporters. They handled themselves very well after the game and are a credit to the club.

Perhaps when your club achieves some success you may lose the massive inferiority chip on your shoulders.

If the Dockers supporters sitting around me on Saturday night are a true indication of the quality of the group, then perhaps some alcohol awareness campaigns are in order. We had to suffer racist taunts (by middleaged men), drunken abusive language including the "f" and "c" words and personal abuse of players. Perhaps in those many years of no success, alcohol was the only way for them to get thru the game?

The majority of the players in your team (apart from the obvious exceptions in Monkeyman and Farmer) are good footballers and good men. I wish them every success and Connelly has done wonders for the club. It is just a shame that so many of your supporters let the club down.

Boo-hoo.

After checking out the replay, there was nothing really bad with the bump, a bit high and a free kick but nothing else.

Vicki, there are "rough crude" supporters everywhere, that's football. For those who have been going to the football from pre AFL days will laugh if you think todays supporters are crude. Supporting has been so sanitized at Subi, maybe the Freo supporters are just showing a bit of "misguided" passion.

Vicki - you come on here and crap on about how you don't understand how anyone can barrack for Fremantle, you bag the Dockers - then you come out with dribble like this.
You are arrogant, blind and stupid.
Get over the loss, and the fact your club wasn't good enough on Saturday night and MOVE ON....
You've got a game against Adelaide to worry about.

I hear u on that one. I love Connely, Bell, Haselby and most of the players. Im glad theyre in the finals. But believe u me im glad for the players not the supporters, because ulot let ure side down! If it wasnt for the arrogance and rudeness of some of u lot and teh complete hatred u show for west coast, id actually be more interested in the 'success' of your club.

Juddyzthebest, you are obviously the exception of the average Eagles supporter.

If you had have had rocks and abuse hurled at you in the early derbies, just how fond of the opposition would you be?

The funniest thing was that while his tribute was played there were probably about the same number if not more dockers supporters in the ground as there was eagles.

I have to agree. I much prefer the dockers themselves, to their supporters. I have to seperate the two in my mind, just so I can enjoy watching their games.

But all that matters is that our supporters love our players and club and the players love our supporters.

exactly! I don't think there's any opposition supporter (from any club) that particularly loves Eagles supporters, and I doubt they really care? :)

We must hold some fascination though, as you do seem to like reading our posts :)

isn't hating/disliking the opposition 'part of the game'?

You have never been enough of a threat in the past for me to really hate you. Up until recently, you have always been everyone's bitches. It was more pity than hate. ;)

Why should we respect a hack like McIntosh ???
Fair Dinkum , He does play for the WCE !!!! Where were the WC fans who dissappeared after the game & not staying for his tribute ?????

Now Vicki I do not care if you give me no credit , I assure you I will sleep like a bay tonite , like I do evernite.

Very good point!

The tribute was bollocks... Evans and Banfield waffled on about aload of nothing for the first 10 minutes. Drew dribbled about a fishing trip they went once... good god it was dreary! A classic tale of "you really had to be there"....no wonder most the toasters left the ground.
Having said that... the video footage that followed of McInstash's career would have been enjoyable for their supporters to savour' especially after his forgettable last effort at Subi. I got in one last sledge of Ashly as well when he was handed the game ball to give to somebody in the crowd... capped a great night!

passion

Masai _ I was going to the football long before the expanded AFL and I know all about supporters. I was at Fremantle Oval many years ago when the East Perth players and supporters had billiard balls thown at them and were spat on. I have been to derbys between East Perth and West Perth since I was a little girl. I know about passion - but I have no time for racial abuse and foul language. And no time for people who laugh and cheer when a player is injured. If you call that "passion" then that is your choice. Perhaps it is a Fremantle version of passion.

But all that is about to change, eh Milkman.

Your hate will grow from the intense pain that will be coming your way over the next 10 years.

But like most WC supporters, you will hark back to past glories in an attempt to deny your current reality.

Pity..... yes, there will be pity... and lots of belly rumbling laughter as well. Get used to it.;)

yep, just proves that freo people really are scum. racial abuse is really low, cant you think of more intelligent and clever insults without resorting to that?

oh of course not how silly of me

derbies between W.P and E.P....
ha - yeah right...
the only "real" derbies in the WAFL are the Freo ones between E.F and S.F.

that's a derby. the other one is commonly referred to as the "Perth derby" and is just for pretenders.

:p :p :p
