I am sad but i wonder about the future of the cloke boys at collingwood. Is there still a place for them. I like cameron, got a bit of mongrel about him, i like travis he is young, mobile, i like jason but a little one dimnsional, perhaps we should see him as a forward not a back. I heard the family is not happy about them not getting a go. Whats the feeling out there

Jason: one dimensional, like you said. Has no future at the club.

Cameron: not bad prospect, can kick a long goal and take a big mark. Injury-prone at the minute.

Travis: the most talented Cloke, mobile, can play either end of the ground. He will be a ten-to-12-year player for us.

Travis will be a gun

Will be ready to assume Roccas possy at CHF when he retires. plenty of years to learn game around him.

would you be tempted to trade Anthony if Travis really stepped up to the plate and was being wasted by being a second or third choice target.

If you wanted to cash in on Big Anth, now would be the time to do it. Dont bite my head off. just thinking laterally.

I honestly don't think that Rocca's trade value would be all that high. He's 29 years old, not particularly fit and had an average season this year.

I think with what we'd be offered for him we'd be better off keeping him but if there was a good offer on the table, it'd have to be a serious consideration.

Should this really impact Mick Malthouse's selection decisions? I doubt he rings all the player's Mums and dropkick Dads before he picks his side.

There would be some big offers available if you did bite the bullet.

Collingwood would need to wrestle with the loyalty and risk of him biting you on the backside in a game. But it could have you stocking up in the midfield with real talent and watching Rocca delivery inconsistency elsewhere.

I think it is the fear of him turning it on somewhere else that keeps the Roccas,Tarrants Richos at thier respective clubs despite the opportunity to make a bold unpopular decision

who wants to buy Rocca off us?

I agree that it IS tempting to try and trade Rocca, knowing that what we'll get for him will, in the end, be more valuable to us than what we will get OUT of him.

However, the culture of the club is something that is not to be taken lightly. Anthony Rocca is a leader of our club, and a great character guy to have around. His value is more than just what he brings on-field.

Hutchy said today that Rocca has signed a new 3 year deal. Surely not....? Utter madness if true.

I think it was a 2 year contract done a bit earlier in the year.
