Has everyone forgotten about the other boys that got drafted last year??? It seems that no one else really mentions anyone else other than CAM FAWKNER!!! What about Brad Murphy??? Cam Wight??? Will Minson??? Tim Walsh???

Instead of talking up CAM y not focus on all of the boys!!!

Yeah maybe cam is a good footy player...ive seen him play some very ordinary footy BUT still is named one of the best...very doubtfull!!!

Cam's a great bloke, plays good footy...but its a joke that none of the other boys get a mention...Brad murphy played very well last weekend against Sandringham and even better this weekend agaisnt boxhill with 37 possies...

More than one bloke was drafted last year and it would be good if BULLDOGS supporters recognised that!!!

Faulkner is the player most likely to play senior football and that is why he is the main focus. The others are a fair way off playing senior football imo. We really would not be talking Faulkner up so much if we were winning the games or did not have the injury list that we do

That's a great point BUT Brad Murphy isnt far off either...He averages around 20ish possies a week...

Its great that cam will get a game sometime soon and that he got named as an emergency on the weekend...but if there are so many injuries doesnt that mean that there is room to give the new boys a go???

No one every seems to mention how well the other boys play, everyone is apart of the team and everyone should get a mention...

There really should be a rule against listed AFL players registering on Bigfooty.

The point is that other than Bassett and Faulkner, no other draftee was really expected to play senior football in the first half of the season. Wight is often mentioned and most think he is a player of the future. Murphy has also been mentioned although for mine he was lucky to be drafted so early.
Walsh is progressing well and Minson will need a lot more time since his junior football was not as extensive as the others.

So tell us, how did the boys play today ?

Like your enthisiasm but if Murphy played v Box hill yesterday he played for Werribee resis then and got dropped! Averaging 20 posses a week! 40 in the resis and 10 each week in the firsts!
Did notice the name on the paper is there another Murphy?

Listen Bradleys babe, we all know you are his girlfriend, so you should know that it isn't his goal to play a senior afl game this year.

Oh and may i ask why brad is in the werribee reserves and not seniors with cam faulkner???

Well sorry to say he couldnt have played very well last week, cos he got dropped. He played an ok 1st half and then went missing.Dont get me wrong i think brad will be a pretty good player, but dont you think its putting a bit of pressure on him to expect him to play seniors in his 1st year. I think give him time at werribee 1st then maybe play him in the seniors towards the end of the year if hes playing great footy.

Brad was not dropped out of the werribee side coz of his performance...he wasnt dropped at all...it was due to personal reasons...

This isnt all about brad anyways...I just dont understand y none of the other boys ever get mentioned...

Cam wont be playing for quite some weeks im guessing...

No need to bag one of ur own players...as if brad got dropped from poor performance...dont u guys go to the games???

As if it isnt brad's goal to get a senior game...

Get over it already!

People are going to talk about the guys who are playing good footy....have you ever notcied it happens in the AFL???

People talk about the way that guys like Scott West, n the guys who get alot of the footy fed to them rather than the guys who go and get the footy themselves and work for it... they are the guys who are hard for the footy i.e. Matthew Robbins, Shane Birss.

So stop ur god damn whinging and get over it!

By the way Cam Faulkner is playing a hell of a lot better than Brad and is doing the things in a game that is making people watch him. I can't say I have actually sat up and notcied when Brad has had posession of the ball.

Yeah some of us do go to the games, but unlike you we dont just watch one player. Dont get me wrong, i think brad will be an alright player for us, but at the moment he just needs to start playing a bit better, so people will notice him more.

Brad's use of the ball is first class and it surprises me that people don't acknowledge this. The season has really only just started and hopefully by the end of the year a couple of the draftees have played a game.

I think your comment above is inappropriate PC. I suppose you are jealous because you'd have no chance of getting any "eye candy".

Brads use of the ball couldnt be first class, cause he got dropped after 2 games.

What i have seen of brad i am impressed with. Bit of a ball magnet type with good skills, and a body more ready for the rigours of the AFL than what we have become accustomed to from first year players. See him as a likely type for the future.

His girlfriend coming on here and complaining about the lack of mentions on our board of him and the other first year players besides Faulkner is a bit embarrassing though. We are not here to hand out encouragement awards, we are here primarily to talk about the Western Bulldogs, and other than Faulkner, the draftees are very unlikely to have any effect on the club in the near future.

Fair enough if you want to spark some discussion about the other youngsters and how they are going, but don't complain we don't give them enough attention, we are not the coaching staff.

He does have very good skills but unless we keep racking up injuries, perish the thought that it could get worse, I don't expect him to come into consideration for a few more weeks yet. Good height for a midfielder type. Out of all our picks I would have rated him the third most likely to get a game behind Bassett and Faulkner.
