Almost finished my install of new MOBO/CPU/RAM to play ARC Raiders at an acceptable quality. Rig was 10+ years old so definitely about time for an upgrade.

Started RDR2 last night. Didn't get very far in but I did enjoy the small part I played. Can see myself enjoying this greatly.

For the multitude that've played it, how big is the game? I assume there's plenty of side quests.

Steam says I have 175 hours. That was doing pretty much everything to get the 100% completion stat (challenges, collectables, stranger missions, etc.)

I'll skim through this, but I can already feel his pain!

I just wanna say my 175 hours was for the 'Best in the West' achievement, haha. Getting every single achievement would've taken me 300+ hours for sure. I didn't go for getting gold medal on all missions, skin every animal, all the online one's, etc.

I did watch more of it than I was going to. He must've initially shat himself when he realised he missed a few animals on that locked island. Glad he managed it, but had no idea you could glitch your way back there.

Top Spin 2K24 - Xbox

I've gone full circle back to the first platform that I purchased the game on!!
Boosting my time played for the end of year stats + mopping up achievements for the game.
Didn't even know it had left the PS+ catalog......... tempted to buy it outright, but for now I'll just bounce between the Xbox and pc versions.

Dark Souls III finally on sale on the Playstation, thus I've finally got the holy trinity (PC, XBOX & PS versions)

If it wasn't for the MK Kollection Dark Soouls III would be my GOTY based on the many months that I've played and replayed and replayed it lol.

I know there is a third one out but myself and my son started Jurassic World Evolution 2. Ive never been into building games apart from the good old C&C/Red Alert games (if they are building games) but as we are btoh dinosaur nuts we thought we'd give it a crack. Had no idea it would be so addictive. Also really surprised with the ease of controls using Xbox. It looks great, massive amount of dino's, the only very small downside is some of the commentary, a bit cringe but all in all this is fantastic.

Haahaa, yeah I only found out as I wandered into an EB Games and saw it. It actually played a part in me downloading 2 and giving it a crack.

Assassin's Creed.

What a game, back when Ubisoft was great, don't care what anyone says, AC1 is in the top 3 AC games for me. I remember being blown away playing this the first time in 2007, the setting and story had me hooked, and it holds up really well even in 2025.

Yep I really enjoyed that game, I got a good 30-40 hours out of it. Gets very intense at times. Got a fair bit of S.T.A.L.K.E.R vibes to it, too.

I have no idea wtf is going on half the time but I'm enjoying it. Still can't figure out how the map works or where I'm supposed to be going. Very intense when you're racing for the gate back to the garage lol.

Finally started Baldur's Gate 3 (probably a mistake starting it now and not while on leave, but meh), punctuated by short sharp TimeSplitters Rewind matches.

Annoyed I smashed through all campaigns in the Dawn of War Definitive Edition months ago, and they add Achievements now :/ Luckily I think I have save games at the start of the final mission of all of them, so I should be able to get at least one campaign complete achievement for each campaign fairly easily haha

Euro Truck Sim 2. Enjoyable but man they need to make the truck more responsive when reversing.
