What are you footy pet hates??

Mine is when footy sluts come to the footy JUST to perve on hot guys in the crowd and on the field and then when a player gets it and everyone is screaming, they yell out something like "Yeah, go Hasleby!" when its actually Bell, or "Go number 7" coz they dont know the name......thanks for the help Outkast

My pet hate would be those raffle ticket sellers giving everyone the hard sell as you enter the ground. I used to buy them occasionally, but now when I get asked 6-8 time by separate people as I enter the ground it is getting beyond a joke.

I know it is usually for a good cause, but having them continually getting in your face (even after you bought a ticket) drives me mad

That totally ****s me, specially the part time eagle supporters.
When I rang them up to burn them about the eagles losing its always "I hate footy".

It's gotta be the posh suits who only know players by number or call every player by the club nickname like "Go Magpie!". And the so-called supporters who bag their own players, especially the ones who bag the club's star with comments like "Buckley's a disgrace". Certain players no-one can justify abusing, especially 'supporters' of the club. (I happened to hear both of these on sunday, as if losing wasn't bad enough)...thanks for the credit freo_fan

I dont know really..i have a couple that REALLY get on my nerves

1). Supporters, or people who go to the footy and they just dont shut up, they talk and talk and talk and talk and talk, i mean its ok if its relevant, but to crap on for about 20 minutes on something not even relevant gets really annoying.

2). Opposition supporters who make jokes or bag everything you say. Like if you yell out "CARN STEWY" and they mimick it in a pussie voice or if you talk to a friend next to you and say something like "Francis is a good player isnt he" and they go "yeah, hes SUCH a good player" in sarcastic tones...oh how sweet it is when you win.

3) Getting told not to be so loud. If you dont like how i support my club, either move, or go to a crows game. If you want piece and quiet then go and have a sleep at home or watch the delayed telecast.

4) Supporters who leave early...it pisses me more off when opposition supporters leave early (mainly crows ones here). The last two showdowns have been fantastic for that. Like a crow fan will leave 15 mins in to the last quarter and say to you "well at least weve got two premierships" i love just saying "oh..thats funny, i thought crows fans didnt bring up past glories?"...very sweet as well.

I dont find it annoying if someone bags a player...but only if they deserve it. Like if someone really fuks up and the opponents kick a goal because of it i dont find anything wrong with letting the player know he made a mistake. What i find annoying is how people tend to bag the lesser known players for small mistakes but are not willing to bag better players for the same thing.

I really really hate

1) people yelling out 'chewy on your boot' when an opposition player is kicking for goal.

2) Qld'ers who constantly bag me when the Hawks lose despite the fact they couldnt even name 5 Brisbane players, call the umps ref's, call frees penalty's, think that there are 'line outs' and to them a mark is a catch (I could go on and on)

3) Opposition supporters sitting in our members area and pretending they own the place and skiting if they happen to be winning

3. Lil tenny bopper who know **** all about footy but sit there as though they are the clubs biggest supporter, but fail to know any of the rules or they don't know any of the players unless they are seriously well known.
4. People who wear other teams apparel to games when those particular teams aren't playing. Why bother?

i dont go to many non-collingwood games, maybe 2 or 3 a year, but i always wear my collingwood jumper!!
