Max Payne 3 may have been a bit generic in it's story telling compared to the amazing games it followed, but Health did an awesome job on the soundtrack.
Particularly this banger which plays during one of the final big shootouts in the game.
One of my fave 80s bands and Rescue is a great early song of their's.
Was lucky enough to chat for quite some time to Will Sergeant, Les Pattison, Phil de Fretais and Ian McCulloch in Mebourne on St Kilda Rd in the early 80s, I think at the Crystal Ballroom. In the main all down to earth guys. They couldn't believe fans would travel all the way from Adelaide to Melbourne to see them. I assured them there were indeed people keen (or stupid) enough to do this. In fact my love of life left her Art year 12 matriculation exam early to catch a flight to arrive in time for the gig.
The Heaven Up Here album is a classic of its time.
Both El's and Mike's opening words on this song are great.
Beware of horses. I mean a horse is a horse of course, but who rides is important. Choose the lesser of the evil people, and the devil still gon' win. It could all be over tomorrow, kill our masters and start again.
