how much of a silly fellow do you have to be to name your band "* the fitzroy doom scene" whether its legitimate or ironic or whatever you've made your band into a joke before the even start

like anyone on a national or international scale gives a s**t about fitzroy or about a subgenre of a subgenre or whatever just * off you pretentious campaigners

Great song. But an even greater piece of lost Sydney. Filmed at the infamous Darlinghurst squat known as The Compound. The same squat also featured in part of Midnight Oil's Power And The Passion video. The Compound was demolished in the mid 1980's to make way for Sydney's Eastern Distributor roadway and tunnel system.

Imagine calling your doom band that plays at a couple of venues in the northern suburbs of Melbourne something dumb. I can't believe they didn't call it something serious and cool, like Bongripper The Wizard or whatever
