African 1970's Disco comp but earlier I was listening to some very generic popular disco testing some old speakers lel.

You'd class the african stuff more funk/disco I'd say but there's some crossover for sure even in the popular realm, even Hot Chocolate had some great bass lines... cred destroyed!
