Knopfler just has it all - guitar virtuosity, great lyricist, masterful compositional skills...oh and versatile af(I always just associated him with Dire Straits until a few years ago) - has a monster catalogue and also a huge collaborator. Some really nice acoustic stuff, too.

This one just an instrumental. Such a timeless, beautiful tune.

This video was an eye opener when it was released. This was probably the first true music video. Everything else before this was basically a video of someone or a band performing in front of a camera. And his mum invented liquid paper as well!

Phoebe Bridgers' Punisher, probably my favourite album of the year so far. She's an amazing writer who can just convey emotion brilliantly. I Know the End is probably my favourite track off it, she perfectly describes such a specific feeling as well as talking about coming to terms with existentialism and the end is just brilliant. I wold highly recommend anyone that hasn't listened checks out some of her music.
