It was 50 years ago today that Jimi Hendrix passed away.
What a great shame he didn’t have an extended career like Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton.
I would love to be able to listen to the music he would have been making today.

What a voice, this is one of the very first songs I remember hearing on the radio.

Ha, ha, he is the spitting image of my next door neighbour.
My uncle who lived near Maffra had one of his records and seemed to have it on high rotation whenever I visited. I really liked his rendition of the old Roger Miller song "King of the Road",
