Brilliant band. Those first three albums (Pink Flag, Chairs Missing, 154) are widely regarded as punk/post-punk classics these days, and rightly so. Massively influential albums. They were a band that was already expanding the horizons of UK punk while it was still firmly in the throes of 'ground zero'.
And it sure as hell didn't end there - the amount of high quality music they've released then over the course of their 40-plus year career (with the odd semi-hiatus chucked in) is just staggering. They're a band that continue to reinvent themselves and stay fresh while still holding true to their original sonic framework.
Still going strong, too. Released yet another very cool album just last month in fact.
