This dude flies under the radar a bit, but he's an absolute gun. The closest thing you'll find to an Australian answer to Matthew Sweet.

(Teenage Fanclub fans would likewise do well to check him out.)

All up he's released half a dozen or so albums of top shelf power-pop, with his most recent album - 2016's 'The Big Radio' - being the best of the lot. Track after track of excellent melodies, inviting hooks, and crunchy power chords, with nary a dud among the lot.
