Inception easily for me.

Then harder but probably Creed and District 9 but nothing comes to mind as anything especially good apart from Inception. Matt Damon movie, The Martian maybe if I remembering the right movie. Slow paced but ok.

Inception is probably only the second movie in my life I was happy to go back to cinema a month or so later and watch again. Pulp Fiction was the other back in 1990's.

These are my favs, not necessarily the best, and not in order of preference. I base it on films I have watched several times because I like them:

Inception (2010)
Nightcrawler (2014)
Zero Dark Thirty (2013)
The Dark Knight (2008)
Avatar (2009)
Interstellar (2014)
Spotlight (2014)
Deadpool (2016)
Moon (2009)

Damn, I forgot 'I Saw the Devil', classic.

Really?
Why on earth is this one of your ‘favorite’ films of the last decade?

It has shocking content but was also cogent and the time flew by. Will probably never watch it a second time however. The shocks wouldn't be as shocking already knowing what happens.

Ones that instantly came to mind from an enjoyment perspective:

Intersteller
Inglorious Basterds
12 Years a Slave
Django Unchained
Whiplash
In Bruges
Spotlight
Gran Torino
The place beyond the pines
John Wick
Nightcrawlr
The girl with the dragon tattoo (Swedish version)
Wolf of Wall Street
Scicario
Moneyball
Rock N Rolla
American Sniper

Going to have a go at a top 10 in order from 2008-2018:

1. Inception
2. Dunkirk
3. Edge of Tomorrow
4. Toy Story 3
5. Inglorious Basterds
6. The Dark Knight
7. The Social Network
8. 21 & 22 Jump Street
9. Star Wars: The Force Awakens
10. Her

Bravo, Nolan. My favourite film-maker for sure.

Unlucky: The Martian, Mad Max, Civil War, Avengers 2, In Bruges, Prisoners.

Anyone want to have a go at listing some underrated films that maybe didn't get the credit/recognition/viewership they deserve?

I'm thinking:
Alien: Covenant - was shocked when I saw reviews and ratings. Thought this was excellent (from a non-Alien fan)
50/50 - it's been a while since I watched it but I remember it being excellent and heartwarming.
Shame - a powerful film about sex addiction. Changes your perspective on the matter.
Detroit - relatively new but I don't hear much about it. Excellent film and a must watch that also tackles a controversial issue.
Get Out - although lots of people loved this, you don't see it on many 'best' lists in which I think it should be.
Inside Llewyn Davis - also scored rave reviews, you should check it out. Cohen bros.
Drinking Buddies - a natural, easy to watch film.
Locke - Tom Hardy driving in a car for an hour and a half but it's extremely engrossing.
Mud - McConaughey low budget film you should check it out.
The Gift - nice little thriller that made my flight home much smoother and enjoyable.
Dredd - balls to the walls action.

Edge of Tomorrow is good but nowhere close to 3rd best movie in a decade. Stupid, needless tacked on happy ending when the Tom Cruise name sold the movie anyway.

I of course respect your own opinion and own choices, but may I ask how old you are? Truthfully?
